Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Orthoptist to lead our Glaucoma Monitoring Service. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of our services.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Glaucoma Monitoring Service, working closely with Clinical Nurse Specialists and Orthoptic Assistants. They will also be expected to contribute to service development, training, and supervision of junior staff within the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Glaucoma Monitoring Service and contribute to the development of our services
  • Work closely with Clinical Nurse Specialists and Orthoptic Assistants
  • Contribute to training and supervision of junior staff
  • Participate in regular multi-disciplinary team meetings

Requirements

  • Registered with the HCPC
  • Experience in Glaucoma Monitoring and service development
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
