Job Title: Senior Care Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Home Instead. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our clients, enabling them to live independently and happily in their own homes.

The Role:
  • Reporting to the Registered Care Director, you will be responsible for supporting our clients with their daily needs, including personal care, medication management, and household tasks.
  • You will maintain accurate records of client interactions and care plans, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible care.
  • As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be expected to build and maintain positive relationships with our clients, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
  • You will also support and mentor our Care Professionals, providing guidance and training to ensure they are equipped to deliver exceptional care.
  • Participating in on-call duties as required, you will be available to provide emergency support to our clients and their families.
  • Compliance with Home Instead's Equality, Diversity, and Equal Opportunities Policy is essential, ensuring that our clients receive care that is respectful and inclusive.
Criteria:
  • You will have a passion for delivering high-quality care, setting high personal and professional standards to inspire our Care Professionals.
  • With experience in the care sector, you will have a deep understanding of the needs of our clients and the importance of delivering personalized care.
  • You will be confident in the use of care management technology, including remote care applications, and be able to provide support and training to our Care Professionals.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and work within current legislation, you will be a trusted member of our team.
  • Level 2 or 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care is preferred but not essential.
