Senior Employee Relations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Employee Relations Specialist to join our Human Resources team at Morson Talent. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for managing complex employee relations issues and providing expert guidance to managers and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the management of complex employee relations cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, sickness absence, and redundancy processes.
- Provide expert advice and support to managers and employees on a wide range of HR issues, offering practical solutions that align with business objectives while maintaining legal compliance.
- Assist in the development, review, and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Develop and deliver training programs to managers on employee relations-related topics, such as conflict resolution, performance management, and employment law updates.
- Act as a mediator in employee disputes, helping to resolve conflicts amicably and maintaining a harmonious working environment.
- Monitor and analyze employee relations data and trends, preparing reports for senior management to inform decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business, including managers, employees, and external partners, to support the achievement of HR and business objectives.
- Ensure that all HR activities are carried out in compliance with UK employment law, ACAS guidelines, and company policies.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar Employee Relations role, with a strong background in managing complex employee relations cases within a large, multi-site organization.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent in Human Resources or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and best practices in employee relations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
