About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electro-Mechanical Specialist to join our team at Owen Daniels. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant, equipment, and building systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Conduct thorough fault-finding and diagnostic analysis to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and steam system issues.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive program of planned preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is running at peak efficiency.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on maintenance and repair options, including new installations and equipment upgrades.
- Deliver ongoing training and development programs for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in electro-mechanical maintenance.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years' experience as a plant/maintenance engineer in a production environment.
- Proven electro-mechanical fault-finding experience and a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and steam systems.
- Relevant engineering/maintenance qualification (Level 3 ideally).
