Job Title: Production Planner

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our team at Qualitair Aviation Group, a Randstad Company. As a Production Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of customer-supplied work packages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process customer-supplied work packages into a format suitable for maintenance environment.
  • Assess customer-supplied work packages to produce a fully engineered company work package, including tooling requirements and external agency organization.
  • Import customer-supplied work packages into our computer system.
  • Ensure all associated maintenance data, referenced proformas, cross-reference documents, and drawings are attached to the relevant work package.
  • Identify key milestones, including parts and tooling/resource requirements for planned maintenance.
  • Liaise with Resource to ensure adequate manpower levels for the required workload.
  • Identify third-party requirements, such as NDT, aircraft reweighs, and exterior cleaning, to ensure scheduling considers human factors.
  • Identify safety-critical tasks, including CDCCL, independent inspections, and EWIS.
  • Ensure all late additions to work packages are raised correctly and entered on the pack index.
  • Perform 100% audit of completed paperwork to ensure it is complete.
  • Scan completed work packages and return to customer (as required and within agreed SLA guidelines).
  • Support Check Manager(s) during maintenance inputs.
  • Work with Check Manager to carry out procedural audits during maintenance, identifying completed tasks, stamped and staged documents, and signed and complete documents.

Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Thorough understanding of reporting tools, i.e., Excel, Word, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 5+ years in the Aerospace/Engineering/Manufacturing/Construction sectors.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements pertaining to Aircraft Maintenance.
  • Previous experience in a P145 planning environment preferred.
