Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Cheddar Woods Resort & Spa in Axbridge, Somerset. This is a permanent position to work full-time hours, with a variable schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of kitchen duties, including pot washing, collecting and cleaning crockery and utensils, and assisting with food preparation. They will also work closely with the Head Chef to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
Requirements for the role include some previous experience in a busy kitchen environment, with a catering qualification in Level 3 Food Safety being desirable. A driving license and ability to drive is an advantage to enable easy travel to and from the resort.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation and presentation
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Work closely with the Head Chef to ensure efficient kitchen operations

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a busy kitchen environment
