Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Business Continuity Management Lead to join our dedicated team at A&O Shearman.

The purpose of this Senior Manager level role will be to develop and implement a comprehensive Business Continuity Management (BCM) strategy globally, ensuring the firm's resilience and ability to recover from disruptions.



Main Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, test, and maintain the firm's Business Continuity Plan to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks and threats to the firm's operations and reputation.

• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, business leaders, and external partners to ensure effective communication and coordination of BCM initiatives.

• Conduct regular Business Impact Analysis (BIA) to identify critical business processes and develop strategies to ensure their continuity in the event of a disruption.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in BCM to ensure the firm's strategy remains effective and compliant.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Business Continuity Management, with a strong understanding of BCM principles, practices, and industry standards.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and threats.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
