Position Overview

Inspired Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Supplier Quality Engineer to enhance our quality assurance processes within the aerospace sector. This pivotal role encompasses the planning and execution of a comprehensive audit schedule aimed at ensuring supplier compliance with industry standards and organizational flow-down requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supplier Audits: Conduct thorough evaluations of supplier facilities, assessing their manufacturing environments and procedures to identify any non-conformances with regulatory standards and internal processes.
  • Quality Issue Management: Proactively manage identified quality issues, driving effective root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  • Supplier Selection and Onboarding: Assist in the selection and onboarding of suppliers, managing risks, and collaborating with various departments to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
  • Audit Planning: Plan and execute audits of supplier products and manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Quality Plan Implementation: Oversee supplier transitions and the development and implementation of quality plans.
  • Project Support: Provide support for new projects and prototypes as necessary.
  • Source Inspection: Conduct on-site inspections or releases at the supplier's location when required.
