We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert clinical care to patients with inherited cardiovascular diseases and heart muscle problems.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist clinical care to patients with inherited cardiovascular diseases and heart muscle problems
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote self-management and independence
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- NMC Registered Nurse (Child) or RN Adult with significant band 6, relevant experience in specialty (cardiology)
- Evidence of on-going professional development relating to clinical specialty (cardiology)
- Possession of a relevant honours degree or in the process of obtaining
- Leadership and management skills
- BLS/EPLS
- Recognised teaching qualification
- Assessing and mentoring qualification
- Advanced clinical assessment skills
