This role is ideal for a seasoned nurse eager to join a progressive team dedicated to providing specialized nursing care and guidance to patients navigating urology care pathways. Demonstrable leadership and change management skills are essential.
The post holder will engage closely with the Planned Care group Matron, overseeing inpatient services as part of the Urology and Vascular Clinical Service Unit, to guarantee seamless care for patients.
The ideal candidate will be innovative, resilient, and uphold a strong professional work ethic, with substantial experience in the clinical specialty. Clinical credibility, problem-solving capabilities, and sound clinical decision-making are crucial. Job Duties
The successful candidate will be innovative and resilient, demonstrating a strong professional work ethic and relevant experience in the clinical specialty. The post holder will collaborate with the Specialty Lead and General Manager for the Clinical Business Unit, supporting the team in service development through collaborative efforts with NHS Hospitals across the region, aiming to provide optimal care for patients.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- Post-registration experience at Band 5 (minimum of 1 year)
- Experience in assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating care programs tailored to specific patient needs
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary team and across organizational boundaries
- Participation in clinical audits
Desirable:
- Experience in policy development
- Budget and financial management experience
- Experience in leading or managing a team
- Change management experience
