Richardson International is seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Barrhead, AB facility.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our grain processing plant by performing a wide range of maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Carry out repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment within the milling facility.
  • Operate low-volume boilers to generate steam for processing operations.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions effectively.
  • Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment by adhering to all safety protocols.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrate the ability to work comfortably in a grain processing environment, including working at heights on elevated platforms and ladders when necessary.
  • Possess a strong mechanical aptitude with an interest in performing basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and possess basic computer proficiency.
  • Be physically capable of lifting and stacking up to 50 lbs.
  • Have a flexible work schedule, including the ability to work Monday through Friday.
  • Previous experience with general maintenance and operating equipment such as forklifts, skid steer loaders, and front-end loaders is highly valued.
