Position Overview:
A diligent, detail-oriented, and organized professional is sought to assist the Decommissioning Team in a Compliance Support capacity.

Key Responsibilities:
This role involves supporting the decommissioning team in staying informed about updates to laws, regulations, and internal policies related to the decommissioning of offshore assets. It is essential to ensure that all regulatory and internal compliance obligations are recognized, comprehended, and fulfilled by the team.

Communication Skills:
Exceptional written communication and presentation skills are necessary, as the position entails gathering diverse information, summarizing it into concise reports, and ensuring that the appropriate level of review and authorization is secured before submission to relevant stakeholders and regulatory authorities.

Regulatory Compliance:
Responsibilities include ensuring that all new and amended regulatory requirements are incorporated into the decommissioning project plan. Additionally, support will be provided in the preparation and submission of decommissioning programs, close-out reports, operatorship transition documentation, and other necessary documents for decommissioning projects.

Reporting and Audits:
Prepare and compile presentations and quarterly update reports for regulatory bodies. Act as a point of contact for regulatory agencies in the absence of the Decommissioning Compliance Lead. Manage subcontractor scopes of work related to compliance and assurance activities. Assist in risk assessment reviews, including HAZID and ENVID, focusing on compliance aspects. Support the preparation and execution of compliance reviews and audits, ensuring that corrective actions and recommendations are effectively followed up.

Qualifications:
A technical degree is advantageous; however, candidates with backgrounds in law, business, compliance, or research are also encouraged to apply. A high standard of written English is required. Proficiency in necessary software, including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint, is essential. The ideal candidate will be a team player, willing to work under tight deadlines across multiple projects.

Interpersonal Skills:
A confident, approachable demeanor is necessary, with the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with all departments to foster a positive compliance culture.
