Health and Safety Manager

Hays Health & Safety is partnering with a leading Manufacturing business to recruit a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to drive and maintain the highest standards of safety within the organization.
The business is a well-established, growing Manufacturing / Engineering organization at the forefront of producing and developing modern technologies within their sector. They manufacture and develop niche products for use in their product market around the world.
We are seeking a technically minded, hands-on and analytical HSE Manager to join their business. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a technical Manufacturing or Engineering business, and either be a proven HSE Manager currently, or be an experienced HSE Advisor looking for that step up.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensuring the business is compliant with the latest HSE legislation and standards.
- Managing all internal risks, and identifying solutions.
- Carrying out site inspections, and internal audits.
- Managing all H&S related KPI's, and measuring their performance.
- Carrying out risk assessments, and supporting all internal stakeholders with best practice and the management of documentation.
- Managing all HSE obligations.
- Reporting to the SLT on all HSE updates, and reports on performance.
The successful candidate will be IOSH or NEBOSH qualified and also have IEMA, or an appropriate Environmental level qualification.
