About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Excavation Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various excavation equipment to remove and transport materials on construction sites. You will work closely with groundworkers and banksmen to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Execute tasks according to provided drawings, method statements, and safety protocols.
  • Operate assigned machinery to excavate, load, and transport materials as required by project objectives.
  • Adhere to established risk assessments and conduct your own assessments when necessary.
  • Regularly inspect and maintain allocated equipment to guarantee its reliability and appearance.
  • Collaborate effectively with groundworkers and banksmen to achieve project goals.
  • Maintain professional certifications, such as a CPCS card.
  • Manage the inventory, storage, and transportation of tools and equipment when applicable.
  • Perform general groundwork duties, including drainage, excavation, flagging, and curbing, as well as any other assigned tasks.

About You:

  • Possess a valid CPCS card.
  • Provide two professional references from previous employers.
  • Demonstrate a proactive and dedicated work ethic.
  • Be punctual, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
