We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customer accounts, providing exceptional customer service, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:- Process customer orders accurately and maintain records
- Build and maintain operational relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing sustainable solutions
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to meet customer requirements
- Inform customers of additional charges and provide order updates and relevant documentation
- Coordinate necessary documentation for import, export, and transit movements
- Drive continuous improvement and streamline internal processes for enhanced customer satisfaction
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to achieving and maintaining KPIs
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing of all charges to customers
- Monitor order performance and suggest improvements to enhance margins on customer accounts
- Minimum of two years of customer service experience in an office-based environment
- Grade C/4 in GCSE Maths and English or relevant degree (desirable)
- Experience in a customer-facing role with a proactive approach to customer service
- Meticulous attention to detail with high-quality standards, able to work under pressure and adapt to changes
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build professional relationships
