TM Green Group: Assistant Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor to join our team at TM Green Group, working on a range of education sector projects in the Midlands. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-profile developments, including new builds, refurbishments, and extensions within the education space.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of the commercial process, from pre-construction through to final account
  • Prepare and submit interim valuations and final accounts
  • Ensure accurate cost reporting and forecasting, ensuring projects are kept within budget
  • Measure, value, submit and negotiate contract variations
  • Liaise with project teams to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Conduct risk analysis and value management to optimize project value
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, health and safety regulations, and company policies
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry, ideally with exposure to education projects
  • Knowledge of JCT/NEC contracts and construction law
  • Strong negotiation skills and commercial awareness
  • Experience with cost management software and MS Office applications
  • A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
