Job Title: IT Security Coordinator
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IT Security Coordinator to join our Shared Services team in Gateshead. As an IT Security Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of Information and Cyber Security, ensuring the business' IT infrastructure and services are appropriately secured.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the team in overseeing the IT Security incident process, IT Security Tooling, and ensuring all assets are protected and up to date.
- Coordinate multiple security tools, awareness programs, and work within an ISO27001 framework.
- Coordinate all Group security awareness programs and initiatives, liaison with Churchill employees on information security matters.
- Work with the external consultant on the internal information security audit program.
- Liaise with Certification bodies regarding external ISMS audits, oversee nonconformances, non-compliances, and improvements raised from internal and external information security audits.
- Assist in spot checks of IT security performance and report data to Group IT Director.
Requirements:
- Understanding of IT infrastructure and cloud services, and proactive approach to IT security.
- Be a team player with a logical and structured approach, good communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and escalate issues as required.
- Flexible approach to work, ability to work under pressure, and excellent organisational skills.
- CISSP and/or CISM, MSC Cyber Security, and previous experience of managing IT Security within an organisation are desirable.
