Job Title: IT Security Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced IT Security Coordinator to join our Shared Services team in Gateshead. As an IT Security Coordinator, you will play a key role in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of Information and Cyber Security, ensuring the business' IT infrastructure and services are appropriately secured.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the team in overseeing the IT Security incident process, IT Security Tooling, and ensuring all assets are protected and up to date.
  • Coordinate multiple security tools, awareness programs, and work within an ISO27001 framework.
  • Coordinate all Group security awareness programs and initiatives, liaise with Churchill employees on information security matters.
  • Work with the external consultant on the internal information security audit program.
  • Liaise with Certification bodies regarding external ISMS audits, oversee nonconformances, non-compliances, and improvements raised from internal and external information security audits.
  • Assist in spot checks of IT security performance and report data to Group IT Director.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of IT infrastructure and cloud services, and proactive approach to IT security.
  • Be a team player with a logical and structured approach, good communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and escalate issues as required.
  • Flexible approach to work, ability to work under pressure, and excellent organisational skills.
  • CISSP and/or CISM, MSC Cyber Security, and previous experience of managing IT Security within an organisation are desirable.
