About the Role

Fraser Edwards Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Building Surveyor to join our team on a permanent contract basis, covering the London Area.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned surveyor to lead a team of professionals and take on a range of challenging projects in the social housing sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting surveys and inspections of social housing properties to identify maintenance and repair needs.
  • Managing and leading a team of surveyors to ensure effective delivery of projects.
  • Developing and implementing procurement schedules to maximize financial and operational benefits.
  • Collaborating with directors and stakeholders to inform decision-making and drive business growth.
  • Mentoring and developing junior surveyors to support their career progression.
  • Ensuring the production of high-quality technical reports and presentations to internal teams and contractors.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Building Surveyor in the social housing sector.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
