Job Opportunity

GSL Education is working with a selection of Primary schools across the LE3 / LE4 area to find dedicated Teaching Assistants to support their educational teams.

The roles can range from day-to-day, short-term, and then into long-term positions. Working on a supply basis initially is flexible to suit your employment needs, allowing you to work as many or as few days as required. The roles start on a temporary basis but have the opportunity to progress to permanent positions for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting pupils with the full Primary National Curriculum
  • Working with children who have additional SEND needs
  • Supporting the class teacher across the whole class
  • Upholding a strong classroom presence while motivating and inspiring all pupils
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Previous and recent experience of working in a Primary School or Education setting
  • Strong behaviour management with a flexible approach
  • Enthusiastic, creative, and passionate delivery of the National Curriculum
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Relevant teaching assistant or childcare qualification
  • Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
