We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic team at South West Recruitment. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Identify and generate new business opportunities through targeted outreach strategies, including research and analysis of industry trends and customer needs.
- Prospecting: Research and identify key decision-makers within targeted organisations and initiate contact to understand their needs and pain points.
- Qualification: Qualify leads based on defined criteria to ensure they are a good fit for our products and services.
- Engagement: Engage potential customers through personalized communication, including calls, meetings, and email follow-ups to build relationships and create interest in our solutions.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our medical and biomedical refrigeration products to effectively communicate features and benefits to prospects.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and share insights on lead quality and market feedback.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, leads, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on lead generation activities, prospect feedback, and market trends to the Management Team.
Requirements:
- Proven Experience: Experience in a sales development or lead generation role is essential.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the medical industry and the specific needs of customers in this field would be an advantage.
- High Call Volume: Demonstrated ability to handle a high volume of outbound calls, with experience in driving significant lead generation and opportunity creation.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage prospects, build rapport, and articulate the company's value effectively.
- Self-Motivation: Highly driven and target-oriented, with a proactive approach to sales and a commitment to achieving high conversion rates.
- Persistence: Tenacious and resilient in pursuing leads and overcoming objections.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software and lead generation tools would be desirable.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to understand customer pain points and propose relevant solutions.
Benefits:
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm and Friday 8:30am to 4:00pm
Holidays: Starting entitlement of 22 days plus Bank Holidays increasing each year to a maximum of 28 days plus Bank Holidays.
Sabbatical: One month paid sabbatical after 6 years.
