Job Title: Group Reservations Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Group Reservations Executive to join our team at the Copthorne Tara Hotel London Kensington. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for maximizing revenue opportunities in group reservations, driving sales leads, and increasing conversions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and convert incoming enquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue
  • Be fully conversant with the Opera system and apply it to individual and group reservations
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of departmental telephone standards and answer calls in a timely manner
  • Provide a courteous, co-operative, and professional service to clients and all departments
  • Create groups in the system, enter relevant information, and draw up contracts
  • Complete arrivals checks, ensuring all bookings are entered into the system with necessary details
  • Follow up on traces daily and action them accordingly
  • Ensure cancellation policies are followed and deposits are taken correctly
  • Ensure accuracy of reservation market codes according to company guidelines
  • Contribute positively towards departmental and hotel targets, objectives, and budgets
  • Build strong relationships with customers to understand their needs
  • Arrange and carry out hotel show rounds
  • Ensure the complete administration and execution of all planned group arrivals

  • High level of IT skills
  • Excellent grooming standards
