EOS Propulsion Business Manager

Job Overview:

Airbus Defence and Space is seeking a skilled EOS Propulsion Business Manager to oversee financial and operational performance in our Stevenage, England office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Highlight discrepancies and propose actions to optimize financial and operational performance.
  • Collaborate with business partners from various directorates to drive financial and operational excellence.
  • Support key change decisions in the project, including business cases, rate adaptation, and major modifications.
  • Manage financial aspects of project contracts, including cash, risk, and opportunity management.
  • Prepare management accounts for Contractual Change Notes (CCN) and Estimate at Completion (EAC).
  • Provide management reporting.

About You:

  • Strong experience in project life cycle management, including programme control, risk management, and cost control.
  • Familiarity with customer negotiation and design drivers for spacecraft products.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with an appreciation for safety-critical applications.
  • Project controlling experience or a transferable financial background.
  • Strong financial/accounting experience is desirable.
  • SAP experience beneficial.
  • Large/matrix/transnational organisation experience.
