We are a leading provider of painting and decorating services, dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions to our clients. As a Painter/Decorator Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our team, working on various projects to ensure our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Carry out redecoration and maintenance work to a high standard, adhering to our quality control procedures.
- Interpret and work from all instructions, drawings, and specifications related to the craft, demonstrating your expertise and attention to detail.
- Actively participate in the operation of our Facilities helpdesk, completing work dockets efficiently and accurately, including job sheets with Tradesman's reports, time taken, and materials used for costing purposes.
- Carry out paperhanging and applying associated covering materials, ensuring a seamless finish.
- Carry out plaster patching and dry lining works, demonstrating your ability to work with various materials.
- Erect and dismantle modular scaffolding to carry out work safely and efficiently.
- Apply new products, staying up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.
- Take off quantities of materials for painting projects, ensuring accurate estimates and minimizing waste.
Person Specification
Knowledge
Essential
- Full Driving Licence, enabling you to travel to various sites.
- Ability to work unsupervised, demonstrating your independence and self-motivation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients, building strong relationships and ensuring seamless collaboration.
