Position Overview
In the role of Corporate Tax Manager, you will take charge of overseeing the global corporate tax responsibilities of Oxford University Press, aiming to maximize value while adhering to tax regulations. Reporting directly to the Group Tax Director, your focus will be on tax operations across various jurisdictions, including the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising finance teams and branches/subsidiaries on the structuring of business initiatives from a tax perspective
- Ensuring adherence to local tax regulations and managing transfer pricing strategies
- Overseeing tax reporting and audits, while driving process enhancements
- Assisting in the monitoring and management of tax risks
- Collaborating with tax advisors and auditors
- Executing the Group Tax strategy effectively
This position supports a hybrid working model, requiring two days per week in the office.
Qualifications:
- Qualified in UK tax and a certified accountant
- Proficient in UK tax law and international taxation
- Excellent communication skills and strong business insight
