GMP Training Specialist

Job Summary
The successful candidate will be part of the Training team at Autolus Limited and will be responsible for delivering high-quality GMP training to production team members. The post-holder will be responsible for training operators in multiple functions undertaking GMP activities, designing and creating interactive training packages, and delivering engaging training both in person and virtually.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver comprehensive GMP training programs for production team members.
- Design and create interactive training packages to enhance learning outcomes.
- Deliver training sessions in a clear and concise manner, both in person and virtually.
- Conduct inductions for new starters and ensure they are familiar with GMP procedures.
- Assist in maintaining a GMP training program for all staff through a series of annual updates.
- Work with external service providers to provide or design relevant training.
- Perform other duties as required, following consultation with the post-holder.
- The post-holder will be responsible for adhering to all health and safety guidance provided by the Company.
Requirements
- Must meet the requirements of working in a cleanroom/aseptic environment.
- Directly relevant biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Experience of working in a busy laboratory or commercial environment.
- Training development and delivery experience.
Qualifications
- Degree in Biological Science discipline.
- Experience in a GMP, industry or commercial field.
Skills/Specialist Knowledge
- Understanding of and familiarity with GMP regulations.
- Familiarity with a range of biopharmaceutical and cell-based techniques.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexible, self-motivated, and focused on team outcomes.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Working co-operatively as part of a team as well as independently.
- Good attention to detail and ability to accurately follow SOPs.
- Ability to identify and implement solutions.
- Experience of working in a GMP environment.
- Generates enthusiasm and drive for commitment to excellence.
- Advanced skills in the use of EXCEL and PowerPoint.
- Experience in e-learning creation tools such as Articulate.
- Experience and understanding of adult learning principles.
