Job Summary

The post-holder will be part of the Training team at Autolus Limited and will be responsible for delivering high-quality GMP training to all operational staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training packages for GMP activities, including cell counting, flow cytometry, sterility assays, PCR, and cell culture techniques.
  • Design and deliver interactive training sessions, inductions, and annual updates for all staff members.
  • Collaborate with the Product Development team to transfer technical knowledge and ensure seamless process implementation.
  • Work with external service providers to design and deliver relevant training programs.
  • Develop innovative training materials to capture the audience's attention and ensure a high level of engagement.
  • Use a Learning Management System for Curriculum Development and Maintenance.

Demonstrated Skills and Competencies

E - Essential

P - Preferred

Experience

  • Must have experience working in a cleanroom/aseptic environment.
  • Directly relevant biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry experience is desirable.
  • Experience of working in a busy laboratory or commercial environment is preferred.
  • Training development and delivery experience is essential.

Qualifications

  • A degree in a Biological Science discipline is preferred.
  • Experience in a GMP, industry, or commercial field is desirable.

Skills/Specialist Knowledge

  • Understanding of and familiarity with GMP regulations.
  • Familiarity with a range of biopharmaceutical and cell-based techniques.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexible, self-motivated, and focused on team outcomes.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to accurately follow SOPs.
  • Ability to identify and implement solutions.
  • Experience of working in a GMP environment.
  • Generates enthusiasm and drive for commitment to excellence.
  • Advanced skills in the use of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in e-learning creation tools such as Articulate.
  • Experience and understanding of adult learning principles.
