Homebased Physiotherapist Assessor

Merco Recruitment is seeking a skilled Clinical Assessor to work remotely from home on the DWP's Personal Independence Payment service. As a Clinical Assessor, you will play a vital role in conducting paper-based reviews of claims, independent health assessments, and writing reports for the DWP.
About the RoleThis is a hybrid role, with occasional visits required in your local assessment centre. You will have the flexibility to work from home and enjoy a great work-life balance with excellent benefits.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct paper-based reviews of claims and independent health assessments using your broad-based medical experience and clinical knowledge.
- Write reports for the DWP, utilizing your critical reasoning skills and drawing upon your clinical experience, skills & knowledge.
- Use your Clinical nursing expertise in a new way while enjoying a great work-life balance with excellent benefits.
- At least one year's post NMC/HCPC registration work experience working with people aged 16 to 64.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Be a competent user of IT.
- A large investment in your professional development, especially during the professional all-new training academy you will complete over the first 6 months to become an accredited Disability Analyst.
- Within the first 3 months, you will complete over 140 hours of CPD, along with ongoing professional development throughout to keep clinicians at the top of their game.
- 25 days' annual leave, with the option to buy up to 10 days.
