MONTHIND CLEAN LIMITED IS HIRING FOR A WINDOW AND SPECIALIST CLEANER
POSITION OVERVIEW
This is a full-time position requiring 37.5 hours of work per week. The working schedule typically spans Monday to Friday, although flexibility for weekend and evening shifts may be necessary. Working hours can be arranged between 6:00am and 6:00pm, depending on client needs, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day.
We are seeking a dedicated Window and Specialist Cleaner to join our team, providing exceptional cleaning services to our clients in Colchester and nearby areas, while adhering to site specifications and following all Health and Safety protocols.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate should possess a strong willingness to learn and demonstrate the following qualifications:
– A valid UK Driving Licence
– Completion of an enhanced DBS check
– Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
– Initiative in task execution
– Flexibility in working hours to accommodate client requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES
– Perform window cleaning services as per client specifications, utilizing both reach and wash systems and traditional techniques.
– Execute specialist cleaning tasks, including but not limited to void cleans, end-of-tenancy cleans, hoarder cleans, floor cleaning, carpet cleaning, and commercial kitchen cleaning.
– Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed according to the established cleaning specifications and schedules.
– Maintain accurate documentation for all completed work, ensuring client sign-off and timely submission to the office for processing.
– Undertake additional tasks as directed by your line manager.
– Keep all cleaning equipment and materials organized and in good condition.
– Maintain confidentiality in all work environments.
– Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
– Follow safe chemical usage guidelines (COSHH) and ensure team awareness.
– Perform external cleaning tasks such as pressure washing and gutter cleaning as required.
– Complete all jobs within the specified timeframes.
– Submit daily timesheets to your team supervisor weekly, in accordance with tracking reports.
– Ensure all equipment used is kept in a safe and clean state, reporting any damages to your supervisor.
– Maintain regular communication with your Line Manager.
– Present a clean and professional appearance, wearing the full company uniform at all times.
– Be punctual and ready for work at the designated pick-up time.
COMPENSATION
– Monthly salary of £11.44 per hour
– 20 days of annual leave plus Bank Holiday allowance
– Overtime opportunities available, paid at time and a half
– Enhanced Biohazard rate
TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES
– Participate in Bio Safety and Awareness Course to support your role.
– Engage in various in-house training sessions throughout your employment with Monthind Clean.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
– Relevant qualifications for Bio Cleaning or willingness to undergo training.
– A Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
– Ability to perform tasks competently.
– Proficiency in both hand cleaning and reach and wash methods.
– Comfort with occasional work at heights, with training provided.
– Comprehensive understanding of cleaning procedures, methods, and customer expectations.
– Completion of manual handling training.
– Willingness to pursue qualifications such as IPAF, CSCS, and PASMA.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
As this is a mobile position, travel will be required as necessary. Attendance at the Head Office may be needed periodically.
