ISQ Recruitment is collaborating with a client in the FMCG sector (not a food factory) to find a Production Team Leader for their manufacturing facility in Norfolk.

The ideal candidate will oversee an operational team during shifts, ensuring self-sufficiency, compliance with safety regulations, and the achievement of quality and productivity targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage health and safety protocols during shifts, fostering a Zero Accident culture.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Promote operational excellence and effective problem-solving within the team.
  • Conduct regular Pareto analysis to pinpoint and address key areas for enhancement.
  • Oversee shift performance management, disciplinary measures, and resource allocation.
  • Facilitate essential training and development for all team members.
  • Encourage team participation in continuous improvement initiatives and grassroots enhancements.

Qualifications:
  • Formal training in health and safety management (NEBOSH, IOSH).
  • Experience in the FMCG industry is essential.
  • Technical aptitude in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or technical).
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies, such as Lean-Sigma Yellow Belt.
  • Strong technical and operational knowledge.
  • Understanding of BRC standards is desirable.
  • Proficiency in IT and MS Office applications.
