Business Rates Expertise

Knight Frank is a leading international property consultancy offering professional advice across the Commercial, Residential, and Rural sectors.

The Business Rates team has experienced rapid growth in recent years, driven by an increased number of clients and properties under management. This has led to significant fee income and profitability.

As a Business Rates expert, you will be responsible for providing proactive and enthusiastic advice to clients, working collaboratively to meet annual targets and objectives. You will ensure all work is carried out in accordance with our demanding Professional Standards, maintaining a prominent professional profile and identifying business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert Business Rates advice to clients
  • Contribute to the Business Rates department's annual targets and objectives
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Business Rates and attend relevant training courses and conferences
  • Generate instructions and fees to meet annual targets
  • Maintain a prominent professional profile and identify business opportunities
Requirements
  • MRICS and/or IRRV qualified
  • Five years or more post-qualification experience in Business Rates
  • Driver's license
Personal Skills Profile
  • Ability to identify opportunities to generate new clients and fee income across the south Wales region
  • Ability to promote the Partnership effectively and professionally
  • Ability to prepare and implement Business Development strategies with the Regional Head and other team members
  • Strong team player with good IT skills and knowledge of Riverlake, Analyse & Rates Data
