About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Team Lead to join our team at Tillo. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development of our software platform, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions, and driving innovation in our engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to the engineering team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
  • Software Development: Oversee the development of our software platform, ensuring it meets the needs of our customers and business objectives.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of software engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure their success.
  • Process Improvement: Drive innovation in our engineering practices, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to enhance our software development process.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Problem-Solving: Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Communication: Communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring effective understanding and alignment.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in leading software engineering teams, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical skills in software development, with expertise in PHP and Laravel, and a strong foundation in object-oriented programming.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of software engineers.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of the business and its objectives, with the ability to translate technical information into business value.
