Senior Management Accountant Opportunity

The finance team at St Catharine's College is seeking a highly skilled Senior Management Accountant to lead the delivery of a high-quality management accounting service and provide line management support to members of the Finance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on the delivery of all aspects of the College's management accounting, including cost management, cash flow management, variance analysis, and budgeting and forecasting.
  • Provide support to the Finance Director on the College's financial strategic priorities.
  • Develop and implement standardised and automated processes to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Produce a robust suite of standard management reports and dashboards to enable monitoring and measuring key cost drivers.
  • Mentor, coach, and support others to think through problems and provide appropriate knowledge.
  • Take policies and procedures and transfer them into actionable processes with the ability to review and make improvements.
  • Demonstrate results and delivery orientation and be a change agent with personal impact.
  • Manage projects to successful completion as well as more regular processes.
Requirements
  • Significant post-qualification experience of working in a Finance Department as either a Management or Financial Accountant.
  • Accomplished people management skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate how they can be a leading figure in change and continuous improvement.
