Position: Youth Support Specialist


Are you passionate about making a significant impact in the lives of young individuals with learning challenges and intricate needs? If so, Milk Education is seeking a dedicated full-time Youth Support Specialist to assist children aged 3-19 on a full-time, term-time only basis.

Your responsibilities will take place in a specialized educational environment that focuses on children with complex needs, communication difficulties, medical requirements, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges.

This role operates from Monday to Friday, requiring your presence from 08:30 to 15:30. Please note that we are currently not considering applications for part-time positions.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Youth Support Specialist, you will:

  • Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons

  • Provide assistance with personal care as needed

Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Recent and relevant experience working with children or adults with learning disabilities and/or Autism
  • The ability to provide personal care comfortably
  • Availability from Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 15:30
