About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bids and Tenders Manager to join our Commercial team at JLA Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering our bids and tenders process, ensuring we secure large contracts in the public sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a first-class bids and tender process to support our growth strategy
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis to gain intelligence on current and emerging products, services, and pricing structures
  • Work with the Circuit Commercial team to provide advice and guidance on large or complex bids/Tenders
  • Responsible for planning and mapping change, by understanding the needs of the business and delivering strategies and tactics to achieve success in the tendering and bids function
  • Oversee all aspects of proposal preparation, ensuring quality, compelling bids are submitted in a timely manner with the support of the wider commercial team
  • Act as a coach for leading sales teams and guiding colleagues through the entire deal cycle and help them score large deals for the business
  • Support the commercial team in their pricing strategies for bids using market analysis and research
Requirements
  • Successful track record of delivering tendering and bids
  • Experience securing large contracts in the public sector
  • An understanding of current public sector procurement policies
  • Knowledge of document management methods
  • Working in a fast-paced business
