Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled professional to become a key member of our Valuation team. This role involves the preparation of diverse valuations for various purposes including accounting, taxation, and commercial applications, addressing both contentious and non-contentious scenarios. Our work encompasses business and share valuations, as well as assessments of intangible assets and incentive scheme awards.


Key Responsibilities
  • Overseeing multiple valuation projects and independently conducting the necessary analysis, execution, and reporting.
  • Effectively managing teams while aligning with client expectations.
  • Supporting senior management in business development efforts, including drafting proposals for prospective clients.
  • Defining project scopes, preparing budgets, and communicating these details to relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitoring team performance and workload to ensure optimal productivity.
  • Engaging in internal and external networking to uncover new business opportunities.

Qualifications

To excel in this position, candidates should possess:

  • Extensive experience in valuations acquired within a reputable advisory firm with a global reach.
  • In-depth understanding of valuation techniques and modelling, along with superior technical skills in valuation across various contexts such as purchase price allocations and intellectual property valuations.
  • Current knowledge of leading valuation methodologies and best practices in modelling.
  • Experience in managing a team of valuation professionals.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification, with progress towards a relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA or Chartered Accountant ACA/CA/ACCA).
