We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Sales Administrator to join our team at Pearson Whiffin - Business Support. As a Technical Sales Administrator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with clients, and supporting the sales team in achieving their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a first point of contact for clients, providing technical assistance and accurate quotations, and ensuring timely follow-up and documentation on internal systems.
- Build strong relationships with clients using a consultative sales approach to understand and maximize the potential of every client and every project.
- Professionally handle complaints and queries to ensure satisfactory resolutions.
- Work alongside external sales representatives to ensure that client requirements are fully understood and the best value solution for each project is engineered.
- Appointment planning for external sales teams in response to lead identification or issue resolution.
- Support the ongoing review and development of the pricing process, setting margins and discounts collaboratively with the external sales representatives.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an order processing/quotations role within a manufacturing or engineering business.
- Experience and confidence working with IT systems, including CRM databases, ensuring timely and accurate information entry.
- Great verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong abilities to multitask and prioritize to meet tight deadlines in a changing environment.
- Ideal experience in and knowledge of reading technical drawings.
- A quick mind to manage complaints and problem solve, learning the product range in order to provide technical solutions.
