- Manage financial and cash handling responsibilities, including achieving profit targets and effectively managing costs.
- Maintain a high standard of store presentation, ensuring a welcoming and engaging environment for customers.
- Build and lead an effective volunteer team, providing training, development, and support to ensure their success.
- Proven experience as an assistant manager or supervisor, with a track record of maintaining budgets and completing financial tasks accurately.
- Flexibility to work a variety of hours, including weekends and bank holidays, as required.
- Ability to travel to team meetings, training events, and assist with setting up new stores during the initial growth phase.
- Passion for the Mencap values and commitment to ensuring our retail brand is successful.
- 24 days holiday (plus bank holidays), increasing with long service, plus the ability to buy up to another 10 days via our HolidayPlus scheme.
- Service-related sick pay upon completion of the 6-month probation period.
