Job Title: Adult Care Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Adult Care Worker to join our team at Transformation Unit. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of postural stability strength and balance exercise programs across our footprint.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the delivery of exercise programs, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for participants.
  • Work collaboratively with Postural Stability Instructors to correct participants' technique, monitor for any issues, and maintain a safe environment.
  • Provide exercise demonstrations under the supervision of a PSI, welcoming and signing in participants, and updating attendance records.
  • Communicate effectively with participants, relatives, and carers, using tact and persuasion when necessary.
Requirements:
  • Level 2 NVQ in fitness or health and social care.
  • Exercise for the older adult qualification (or equivalent).
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • Experience working with older adults, communication skills, and ability to work in groups.
