Job Overview

Are you an innovative and strategic Lead Product Strategist with a commitment to transforming the software development sector? BlueOptima is in search of an outstanding Lead Product Strategist to lead our premier product, Developer Analytics, and enable software development organizations to reach their highest potential. In this pivotal position, you will establish a clear strategic vision, define the product direction in alignment with business goals, collaborate with various stakeholders, and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives. You will drive innovation, create a significant impact, and reshape the future of software development performance enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:

Formulating and advancing the product vision and strategy in collaboration with senior stakeholders. Defining, planning, and communicating new product features, roadmaps, product backlog, and success metrics. Conducting in-depth market analysis, understanding competition, and user needs to identify opportunities and develop business cases. Engaging with users, performing user research, and converting insights into actionable product enhancements. Identifying challenges, analyzing root causes, and devising innovative solutions to enhance the product's commercial success and feature delivery. Focusing on outcomes: managing usage, retention, and financial performance. Managing stakeholder relationships: collaborating with senior management, customer-facing teams, engineering, and user experience teams, negotiating priorities, and providing clear guidance. Analyzing data to inform product decisions, weighing options and metrics, and considering risks to drive product success. Adapting product strategies in response to new technologies, market changes, and emerging trends.

Required Qualifications:

Over 5 years of experience in Product Management within a growing SaaS environment, overseeing end-to-end product delivery of various features involving multiple teams and stakeholders. Proven track record in product development, achieving commercial success and desired outcomes. Demonstrated experience in shaping product strategy. Background in Software Development, Computer Science, Data Science, or Mathematics, with a solid understanding of software development best practices. Strong accountability and ownership, with the ability to work collaboratively in a results-driven environment. Experience working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Developed prioritization frameworks and roadmaps. Familiarity with the Product Development Lifecycle, including product scoping, requirement gathering, backlog management, and execution. Experience in conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and customer needs. Proven experience in launching new products successfully. Experience in establishing and applying KPIs and metrics to measure success.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with large datasets and generating actionable insights. Experience leading software engineering or product teams. Good technical understanding of Product Analytics, JIRA, and Figma. Advocate for user-centered design practices, contributing to user research and usability testing.
