About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Medicines Procurement and Homecare Team within the Pharmacy department at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ordering medicines and chasing outstanding orders under the supervision of a pharmacy technician.
  • Developing knowledge, skills, and experience in day-to-day delivery of pharmacy procurement service.
  • Working effectively in a team and under own initiative.
  • Providing excellent communication skills and being able to work with a range of stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Vocational Level 3 or equivalent training.
  • 5 GCSE's / O levels or equivalent experience.
  • ECDL / IT skills.
  • Commitment to personal development.

  • Working with and reporting from databases and spreadsheet applications.
  • Stock control.
  • Policy / Procedure development.
