Key Responsibilities:
- Access Control Management: Manage access control systems for buildings and car parks, ensuring that only authorized personnel have access to secure areas.
- Site Patrols: Conduct regular patrols of the premises, grounds, and car parks to deter and detect potential security threats.
- Customer Service: Respond to customer requests and queries in a professional and friendly manner.
- ID Verification: Verify the identity of employees, visitors, and contractors using a professional and friendly approach.
- Alarm Response: Deactivate and activate alarms as necessary to ensure the security of the premises.
- Key Management: Unlock and lock buildings, rooms, external barriers, and gates to prevent unauthorized access.
- Health and Safety: Identify and report potential health and safety issues and provide first aid if necessary.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of incidents, including reports using computer-based systems.
Requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of five years' experience as a Corporate Security Officer, with a proven track record of ensuring the security and safety of clients' premises and personnel.
- Qualifications: SIA Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) license, and a First Aid at Work qualification (desirable).
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong customer service and team working skills, and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- IT Skills: Competent IT and administration skills, including MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Appearance and Demeanour: A professional appearance and demeanor are essential for this role.
