About the Role

As an Assistant Manager within our dynamic Power & Utilities Transactions team, you'll play a pivotal role in advising clients on complex transactions across the energy and infrastructure sectors.

Leveraging your expertise and collaborating with specialists from various disciplines – including strategy, market analysis, regulation, regulatory finance, and benchmarking – you'll provide comprehensive financial guidance throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on large-scale transactions within the Power & Utilities sector, drawing upon your deep understanding of the industry landscape and regulatory environment.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including valuation methodologies, to support clients in making informed decisions.
  • Originate new advisory mandates by identifying opportunities and building strong relationships with key stakeholders within the Power & Utilities market.
  • Contribute to a culture of excellence by ensuring adherence to KPMG's quality and risk management procedures.

About You:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong academic background and proven experience in transactions within the utilities and infrastructure space.

  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of transaction processes and execution, including due diligence, negotiation, and closing.
  • Demonstrate exceptional analytical skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information.
  • Thrive in fast-paced environments and possess the resilience to manage demanding workloads during peak periods.
