Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Pastry Sous Chef to join our team. Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the production of high-quality pastries and desserts, ensuring consistency and presentation meet Zuma's high standards.
  • Manage a team of pastry chefs, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they meet their full potential.
  • Develop and implement new pastry recipes and menus, working closely with the culinary team to ensure alignment with Zuma's brand and culinary vision.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and execute special events, such as weddings and corporate functions.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Senior Pastry Chef or Pastry Sous Chef Manager in a high-end restaurant or hotel.
  • Proven track record of managing a team and achieving high-quality results.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong knowledge of pastry production, including baking, decorating, and presentation.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm and composed demeanor in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
