Facilities Maintenance Manager

As a Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) Area Manager, your role will be to integrate various elements that enhance our work environment, making it both supportive and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:

Support colleagues in adhering to safety regulations and protocols.

  • Implement EU network standards, plan preventive maintenance, and guarantee technical availability.
  • Work alongside team members to gather and analyze data aimed at process improvement.
  • Oversee and contribute to both site-specific and network-wide projects.
  • Guide, support, and mentor your team to foster their professional growth.

This position requires data collection and problem-solving in a dynamic environment, which includes initiating new projects that enhance operational processes and equipment upkeep.

After ensuring safety, a primary focus of this role is to lead your team effectively, managing their performance and development, which includes organizing additional training opportunities.

The team is the cornerstone of our operations, and their contributions have enabled us to expand into new regions and services.

With the aid of cutting-edge technology, we continuously seek ways to provide a broader and better product range, delivered swiftly and affordably.

The CF team plays a crucial role in the logistics chain, ensuring customers receive products with the speed for which we are renowned.

Our operations are based in Fulfillment Centers, which are integral to Amazon's fast-paced operational network. We manage dynamic inventory and facilitate rapid deliveries around the clock.

Some team members engage with physical products, while others analyze data to assist the entire organization in making informed decisions.

Qualifications:

Relevant experience as part of a maintenance team in an industrial or production setting that manages a variety of complex business processes.

  • Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English, along with upper-intermediate proficiency in the local language.

Experience working with statutory regulations, including compliance checks and machinery safety protocols.

  • Experience with automated equipment, such as packaging machinery, sortation, and conveyor systems.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and PLC-based control systems.
  • Experience in project management or methodologies such as Kaizen, Lean, or Six Sigma.
  • Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
