Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Specialty Doctor to join our dynamic Ophthalmology Service within Hywel Dda University Health Board. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your clinical and managerial skills in a forward-thinking team that prioritizes patient care and community well-being.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality ophthalmic care, including cataract surgery, IVT, and emergency eye casualty services. You will work closely with our Consultant and SAS doctors to share clinical and managerial leadership within the Ophthalmology service.

Requirements
  • Full GMC Registration with Licence to practice
  • Valid Certified Advanced Life Support Skills
  • 4 years full-time postgraduate training (or part-time equivalent) in a relevant specialty
  • MBBS or recognised equivalent
