Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Suffolk and Essex. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with existing and new customers, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate and nurture new business relationships through networking and cold calling.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers to understand their needs and provide suitable product solutions.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
- Travel between locations within the Suffolk and Essex area to meet with customers and prospects.
- Produce high-quality presentations, sales reports, and updates to support business development efforts.
- Complete and share accurate site surveys and quotations to secure new business.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and deadlines.
- Manage your own workload and diary to maximize business opportunities.
- Promote and secure sales of existing and new product lines, including decking, hot tubs, pergolas, and outdoor furniture.
Requirements
- Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Clean driving license and ability to travel within the Suffolk and Essex area.
