This role is pivotal in ensuring that our financial operations align with international regulations and standards. As a prominent entity in the procurement and supply sector, we are committed to maintaining the highest levels of compliance across our global operations.
The Global Financial Compliance Lead will be responsible for the comprehensive management of financial compliance across various international entities. This includes ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met and that financial submissions are accurate and timely. Candidates should possess a robust qualification and a deep understanding of financial accounting, reporting, VAT, and other taxation matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial compliance for multiple international entities and manage associated regulatory filings.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements for group entities.
- Ensure compliance with VAT and Sales tax regulations, including the preparation of VAT returns, while collaborating with stakeholders to provide necessary support and guidance.
- Manage corporation tax returns in conjunction with external advisors, staying informed about current and future tax implications for the organization.
- Act as the primary resource for legislative and compliance updates that impact the organization.
In this role, you will also lead the annual group audit and drive the ongoing enhancement of financial procedures to ensure effective and robust controls are established.
