Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced pharmacist to join our team as an Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacist. This is an exciting opportunity to develop and deliver the Antimicrobial Stewardship agenda at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to various divisions, wards, and departments to support the Trust's Antimicrobial Stewardship Programme.
  • Supervise and support pharmacy staff working in these areas, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Offer specialist antimicrobial advice and refer patients to the Multi-disciplinary Antimicrobial Stewardship Team as needed.
  • Support and deputise for the Lead Anti-Infectives Pharmacist.

Person Specification

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Strong experience as a hospital pharmacist.
  • Delivery of pharmacy services to a range of specialities.
  • Evidence of significant relevant Continuing Professional Development.
