Key Responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive communications support, including media relations, marketing, web content, social media, branding, and internal communications.

Minimum qualifications include:
- Proficiency in written and spoken te reo Māori and English.
- Understanding of the dynamics within hapū and iwi.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Comfortable engaging with individuals across government and within Māori and broader communities.
- Technologically adept.
- Willingness to travel and spend time away from home.
- Strong commitment to health, safety, and well-being.
- Possession of a full New Zealand driver’s license.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Previous experience in public sector communications.
- Familiarity with the Ngā Whenua Rāhui Fund and its significance to Māori landowners.
- Knowledge of the Māori political landscape and relevant government agencies that support Māori advancement.
If you possess additional skills that align with this role, please highlight them in your application.
